Criteria and Guidelines for Tree Sponsors

We thank you for becoming a tree sponsor. Your beautiful tree will be displayed for four weeks and viewed by many residents and visitors. The Annual Festival of Trees at the Port Jefferson Village Center on the second floor will be a month long extravaganza to kick off the holiday shopping season. Businesses, civic associations, non-profits, professionals and even our local residents who have a knack for holiday crafting, are invited to share their expertise and enthusiasm by decorating one of the many available trees. Sharing the location of the only outdoor ice rink on the North Shore, the Festival has much to offer its decorators, organizations and businesses alike in regards to exposure at this high quality, community-wide event. Thank you for electing to showcase your design, skill and imagination…we hope you have fun!

 

DEFINING SPONSORSHIP
SPONSOR: A tree sponsor contributes a $300 sponsorship fee which supports the PJ Chamber and the Festival. Tree sponsors will decorate their own display. Pre-lit trees will be provided. A Festival sponsor is responsible for acquiring all decorations to be used on the display. Materials and the labor required to decorate the tree are your contribution to the Festival. The tree itself will remain the property of the Village of Port Jefferson. Tree decorations and displays are the property of the decorator. Proceeds will be shared between the Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and Inc. Village of Port Jefferson.

Decorate on location at the Port Jefferson Village Center, 101A E. Broadway, P.J.
Set-up and decorating the trees is from November 26th through November 28th  9 am to 9PM.
Mandatory take down January 2^nd & 3rd IF you tree has not been undecorated during this time your decorations will be boxed by staff and charged a fee of $100.
