The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce
Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce
(mostly) TRUE THINGS, a compelling evening of true stories – with a twist. Four creative people from the Long Island community will tell true, funny, heartfelt stories about an experience from their own life on the theme LOST AND FOUND. But there is a game in the show as well. Some of the stories include subtle little lies. The audience gets to question the storytellers, then votes for the person they think told it completely straight. There are prizes involved, if you can believe that.
Stories by:
Arthur Frischman, owner of Longislandsignguy, business leader
Liz Gannon Graydon, founder of What Better Looks Like a not-for-profit that empowers kids to think creatively about the future;
Cathy Salit, a C-Suite executive, improviser and jazz singer, Board member of the Institute For New Music in Stonybrook
Pete Lotus Arevelo, Long Island poet and host of The Muse Exchange
