Maker Faire Long Island
After a two-year hiatus, The Maker Faire of Long Island is back and proud to host a wealth of robotics teams from local high schools (see attached). Competing teams from William Floyd High School, Southhold High School, Smithtown Robotics, Miller Place High School, the Islandbots from Stony Brook, Bethpage High School, the Savage Bricks LEGO team consisting of elementary and middle school students from the Three Village School District and the Lindenhurst High School will be on display showing off their inventive concepts. These teams are a testament to developing teamwork, expressing creative science initiatives and inspiring all who witness these projects through the production of robotic imagination. These presentations will have a significant impact on all students and families in attendance.
Maker Faire Long Island will once again be held in the picturesque Village of Port Jefferson at the Harborfront Park, which includes the Explorium facility, the Port Jefferson Village Center and the outdoor park on the water.
