To introduce you to this event and the enormity of it, it is first necessary to understand the influences that created the need and excitement for such an event. In today’s society, “Green” is the newest movement of our time.  Everyone everywhere is becoming more conscious of our environment, and wondering how to protect and guard it for future generations. Al Gore received incredible accolades and numerous awards for his film An Inconvenient Truth depicting global warming.
